Hi gorgeous! Yes, you! I feel like I have been gone for half
of my lifetime from this thing. I am supposed to
be studying accounting right now but then my friend was like “what’s your next
blog going to be about” and so it got me thinking and now here I am... I think I put my time in! By the way, I was going to try to get a few blogs up this past weekend about baking
and cooking and then life just got away on me. You know how that goes! P.S. I
made a homemade taco pizza on Saturday night and it was the bomb.com so I might
just have a blog coming your way about it! Gotta squeeze in the wannabe
housewife part of me a little bit here!
I get a shit
TON of questions about which eye shadow palettes I recommend. Like, I probably get
a message from people probably twice a week about it. I love when people ask me their advice because I
love to give it. However, I know some of you are a little shy so I am
going to tell you my recommendations without asking!
I am going to tell
you all my Top Five Everyday Eye Shadow
Palettes. Yes, I said everyday! These palettes are the ones with more natural colors in it. I feel like I should tell you guys about
the basics before I jump right in and be like BUY THE CRAZY SHADOW! Even though the fun shadows are totally worth the money but not everyone is a blue eye shadow lover, let's be real. So, for now, here are
my Top Five Everyday Eye Shadow Palettes. Enjoy!
Numero 1
Let’s kick it old
school, shall we? I feel like the Urban Decay
Naked Palette is either something everyone already owns or has highly considered
owning and everyone should. It is a great palette and it has been around for a
while. You can do a really simple look or you can look like a sexpot. Whatever
floats your boat! We all know what boat I like to float in...
This palette only has
two matte colors (sad day) BUT the ones that they have are AMAZING so I gotta
work with them! It has ten other really amazing shimmer shades. The shades
range from very soft champagne’s and gold’s to very dark shades!
It will cost you
$54.00 and I recommend it to anyone starting out in makeup! Find it at Ulta or
Sephora!
Numero 2
The Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette is
B-E-A-U-TIFUL! It has twelve all matte shades which is perfect for someone like
me because I love matte shadows! The colors range from soft creams to plums and then to chocolate browns. It has great pigmentation and it is long wearing just like every
other Tarte product! This product is
the hype!
This palette costs
$44.00 at Ulta or Sephora!
Numero 3
The Lorac Pro Two Palette is amazing! This is the
second Lorac Pro palette. I chose this one because I grab this one MUCH more than the first. It has
eight matte shadows and eight shimmer shadows. The shade Nectar brings life into my soul! I hit pan in like a month on it.
It is amazing! Don't even get me started about the shimmer shadows because the shimmer shadows are so stunning that I probably won't shut up! This palette is full of fun colors but they are not like over the top, if ya know what I mean! Fun fact; I use the Plum shade a ton! The colors are very easy to blend and they have awesome
pigmentation.
This palette costs
$42.00! Find it at Ulta!
Numero 4
Can we take a moment for the Too Faced Natural Eyes
Collection? I love this palette and I always have. My friend’s sister
had it way back in the day and it has always been one of my fav's since then! It has a
good ratio (there is my accounting words coming out) of matte to shimmer shades, which is fabulous! And not to mention,
they are SO SMOOTH to apply! It is just amazing.
The Too Faced brand has several of these style's of palettes and I love them all. They just came out with a Natural Eyes Matte Palette and I am buying it ASAP. I recommend these products to anyone and everyone because these particular palettes literally lay
it out for you for which colors to put together! They literally come with cards
telling you what ones to put together! So, hint hint; if you have a tough time
deciding what looks good together go for these Too
Faced Palettes.
These palettes are
$36.00 a piece at Ulta or Sephora! The Natural Matte Palette I mentioned is only available
at ULTA!
This is the Matte Palette, can you see why i want it? I'm seeing a product review in the near future.
Numero 5 and 5.5
Last but certainly
not least, the Urban Decay Naked Basics and Basics 2 Palette. These palettes are such simple everyday palettes! They have six
shades and they are just a miracle to anyone doesn't want to look overdone but yet still
wants to have something on. I honestly think that everyone should own at least one of these palettes because they are just perfect because they are so basic and simple! Can't go wrong with both!
The Naked Basics (above) is much more warm than the Naked Basics 2 (below).
Buy these for $29.00 each at Ulta or Sephora.
Well, there ya go
darlings my top five(ish) everyday palettes! Let me know if you liked this kind of
thing and if you want more of these! I could go on and on and on about eye shadow palettes.
There will be many
more blogs coming up soon! I am taking a trip to Ulta next week to do some
damage after a long weekend of doing prom makeup. It only seems right to spend the
money that you made doing makeup on makeup, right?
Thanks for reading!
Xoxo,
Clarissa
